New Direction for dude ex machina

I’ve been neglecting this blog for a while, I admit. Part of it has to do with busyness in my life, and part of it has to do with the fact that I’m less interested in the God debate than I used to be. Due to that fact, I’m considering a change of direction for this blog. I’ll still post on philosophy, science, and religion topics that I find interesting, but they will no longer be the sole focus of the blog. Instead, it will be a forum for my more general interests, which include a lot of geeky stuff. These are loosely related to philosophical themes, but that’s more by accident than design. So expect a lot of posts on science fiction, for example. Also, I plan to include more audio-visual content than in the past (which wouldn’t be hard, since I don’t think I’ve ever featured audio-visuals). I don’t know how much time I’ll have to work on the blog between now and Christmas, but expect the face-lift to take effect in the New Year.
